Caña is an awesome bar not only if you enjoy rum cocktails, but also a chill vibe away from the other crowded downtown LA bars on a weekend. There is every type of seating available from booths, padded seats along the wall, and an outdoor patio with a fireplace. Dimly lit, chill tunes, cool clientele and a chill staff. The bartender knows his rum, and the security guard is a friendly guy.

If you love cocktails and want to enjoy them with a few strangers and conversational bartenders, come early in the evening for happy hour. If you're not sure what you want, let the bartenders help you branch out, you won't be disappointed. Caña has the ambiance of a slightly fancier Varnish with about 3x the space. And while it's completely rum-oriented, take this as an opportunity to really get to know a misaligned liquor in the spirit world.
